Lockwood 3772NSFNOHDSS Selector 3772 MkII Universal Primary Mortice Lock - Non-Sprung Furniture, No Hub Disc - 60 mm Backset - Satin Stainless Steel
The Lockwood 3772NSFNOHDSS is a specialised configuration of the Selector 3772 MkII Universal Primary mortice lock, built with non-sprung furniture (NSF) hubs and no hub disc (NOHD), in a 60 mm backset and Satin Stainless Steel finish.
The non-sprung hubs mean this lock is designed to be paired with sprung lever furniture, which provides the lever return - it is not intended for use with non-sprung (free-swinging) furniture. The no-hub-disc build gives an independent (split) follower, so the inside and outside levers operate independently of one another. This is a commercial specification for projects where the furniture and follower behaviour must be matched to the door hardware exactly.
This listing is for the lock body only. Lever furniture is not included, and a Lockwood 570-series oval cylinder and cam are not included - both are ordered separately to suit your door and keying system. The lock is rated to AS 4145.2 for lockset durability and has been fire tested to AS 1905.1 on compliant fire door assemblies.
Key Features
- Non-sprung furniture (NSF) hubs - designed for use with sprung lever furniture (furniture provides lever return).
- No hub disc (NOHD) - independent (split) follower; inside and outside levers operate independently.
- Universal primary lock body from the Selector 3772 MkII platform.
- 60 mm backset (standard).
- Heavy-duty zinc alloy case on a stainless steel chassis.
- Reversible handing - suits left or right hand doors without case disassembly.
- Accepts Lockwood 570-series oval cylinders (cylinder and cam ordered separately).
- Fire tested to AS 1905.1 and rated to AS 4145.2 for lockset durability.
The Selector 3772 mortice lock has been successfully fire tested for up to 4 hours on compliant fire door assemblies to AS 1905.1. Holdback function configurations (3772V-H, 3772XVH, 3772VTH) are not fire door rated. Fire performance depends on the complete doorset - confirm that hinges, strikes, seals and the door core are all compatible and certified. For a plain-English explanation of Australian fire door and lockset standards, see Chapter 11 - Australian Standards (AS 1905.1), and our guide to fire door types and certification.

Frequently Asked Questions
The lock hubs have no return spring, so the lever is returned by the furniture rather than the lock. This build must be paired with sprung lever furniture (ordered separately). If you need a lock that works with non-sprung furniture, choose the standard 3772SS instead, or confirm the right combination with Terry's.
Without the hub disc, the two followers operate independently - the inside and outside levers are not mechanically linked through a common disc. If you need the standard common-follower behaviour with the no-hub-disc build's other traits, compare the 3772NOHDSS and 3772NSFSS variants.
Yes. The Selector 3772 has been fire tested to AS 1905.1 for up to 4 hours on compliant fire door assemblies. Holdback configurations (3772V-H, 3772XVH, 3772VTH) are not fire door rated. Fire performance depends on the whole doorset, so confirm all hardware is compatible. For context, see fire door types and certification, and before drilling any older door, our note on asbestos risk in apartment fire doors.
Additional Information
This is a non-sprung build - it relies on sprung lever furniture to return the lever. Fitting non-sprung furniture to this lock will leave the lever without proper return. Confirm your lever furniture is sprung, and that the hub size and follower type match, before installing. Terry's can help you match furniture to this lock.
The Selector 3772 is fire tested to AS 1905.1, but a fire-rated lock is only one part of a compliant doorset - confirm hinges, strikes, seals and the door core are all rated and compatible, and remember that holdback configurations are excluded from the fire rating. For a reference list of test certificates see Fire-Rated Certification - Test Reports. Fire door and commercial work is a candidate for Terry's professional install - see Site Survey & Installation Services.
The 3772 is a "universal" lock case: function is set by the cam and adaptor fitted at installation. The X7 cam retracts the latchbolt and operates the locking bar; the V cam operates the locking bar and retracts the latch after unlocking. MkII adaptors such as the 3770M2-ADAPTOR are not backwards compatible with MkI cases.
The 3772 is a primary mortice lock. On fire-rated apartment and strata doors, only one penetration of the door leaf is typically permitted, so the primary lock and any secondary lock must be planned together. See our explainer on the one-penetration principle and primary locks.
